CME for Physicians

With CME for Physicians by Language of Caring®, LLC, you can satisfy your physicians’ needs for CME credits AND align them with and advance your strategies to provide the exceptional patient and family experience. The groundbreaking Language of Caring for Physicians®:  Communication Essentials for Patient-Centered Care is a CME-compliant program that helps physicians develop 7 evidence-based communication competencies essential to impressive CAHPS performance, patient engagement and patient-centered care, as well as optimal patient outcomes. We help physicians align with your strategy to improve the patient experience by helping physicians establish and sustain and exceptional doctor-patient relationship. You can offer The Language of Caring for Physicians in a variety of formats suited to your medical staff’s availability and preferences.  We provide a web-based CME-compliant Program, on-site programs presented by our dynamic physician associates, or a combination of web-based and on-site programs. We provide you with all of the paperwork you need to acquire continuing medical education units through your CME provider.  This includes the program objectives, description, key content, credentials of developers, and the evaluation forms required for AAMC approval. Options for Implementation:

• Convene physicians and conduct the modules in short, periodic, interactive sessions, for instance one per month. 4 credit hours
• Provide a condensed KickStart (90-minute skill overview conducted by Language of Caring, LLC Physician Associates) followed by a series of interactive, 30-minute group sessions scheduled over a period of months. 5.5 credit hours
• Provide a full-day retreat facilitated by Language of Caring, LLC Physician Associates, in which physicians examine, discuss and practice the seven competencies key to patient-centered care.6-8 credit hours
• Provide your physicians with on-line access to the videos and quizzes for convenient independent viewing. 4 credit hours

The number of credits you assign depends on the number of contact hours involved in your implementation approach. Please note that our Web App tracks who completes the program, so you have the records you need to grant CME units.
