Typical Implementation Steps

• Assessment, Groundwork, and Customization:  We meet your key stakeholders, learn about your goals, culture, and success factors. We use our learning to customize plans and materials for all strategy components. We also help you with evaluation planning and planning for sustainability.
• Leadership Kickoff:  Half or full-day session with leaders (e.g., executives, medical staff leaders, directors, managers, supervisors, and educators) to engage them and prepare them to engage their teams, facilitate short interactive sessions, and embrace the leadership roles key to achieving great results.
• Facilitator Training for Jumpstart Workshops:  We prepare a team of your internal people to champion the Language of Caring and facilitate the two-hour upfront workshop for all employees.
• Jumpstart Workshops for Employees (2 hours) Your facilitators conduct these for all employees. You will see immediate changes in behavior as staff begin to apply the skills.
• Skill Modules through Blended Learning Process:  Includes web-based, team learning and habit building. In short workshops, managers guide their work teams to review one skill at a time, then master, apply, and build habits into their everyday practice.

AND—The Language of Caring for Physicians®: Communication Essentials for Patient-Centered Care Also a blended learning approach with web and live elements, this physician program can be implemented to align and engage physicians. Designed for physicians, by physicians.
